Natural and reusable materials, traditional and innovative techniques, perfectionism and charming imperfections complement each other and fit in seamlessly with the bygone grandeur of the photogenic location. The walls are adorned with the textile works of art of two remarkable designers. The Bloom Inks wallpaper collection (for Dutch Wall Textile Co.) by Bo Reudler Studio made tongues wag earlier this year at the Salone del Mobile and came about in an extraordinary way.

Bo Reudler: ‘Years ago I discovered that, if I put a flower between two layers of fabric through my great-grandmothers antique mangle, the colours of the flower would “explode” into the fabric. I left these patterns intact as far as I could, scanned them and converted them into wallpaper.’ The result is digitally printed on 100-percent linen with a non-woven backing. The beautiful kaleidoscopic collages give any space a personal character full of atmosphere.
